This will be the Philippine Football Team’s first AFC Asian Cup appearance. Just like the FIFA World Cup, it’s a quadrennial football festival, meaning it takes place once every four years.

The upcoming Asian Cup will be on January 5 to February 1, 2019, and will be hosted by United Arab Emirates. The matches of all 24 participating national teams will take place in 7 separate venues in four cities.

Group C
The Philippines is drawn in Group C, together with Korea Republic (South Korea), Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan), and China PR (China).

Games schedule
Our street dogs’ first game will be on January 7 against South Korea at 9:30 PM (Philippine time). Second game is against China on January 11 at 9:30 PM (Ph time). The last group game is against Kyrgyzstan on January 16 at 9:30 PM (Ph time).

Live broadcast

[Edited] There is no local television network that will air the games, as I previously wrote. I got the wrong info from this website.

Foxsports will broadcast the AFC Asian Cup. If your cable or dish network provide has a Foxsports, you’re blessed.
